- When you are thinking of employing somebody, make a list of all the duties you intend that person to do.
- Think about your busy and quiet times. Do you need someone full-time or part-time or do you need the flexibility of a casual employee?
- Who will be training this person about your business and the duties involved?
- Make sure you have available space for a new employee.
- Employing people with a disability – The majority of employers who have employed someone with a disability say they would be happy to continue doing so. Like all employees, people with a disability can bring a range of skills, talents and abilities to the workplace.
