WDEA has recently been successful in expanding its Disability Employment Services (DES)  by winning the latest Federal Government tender.

WDEA will provide ‘Program A’ DES services in Ballarat, Ararat, Stawell and Horsham; and continue to provide DES ‘Program A’ and ‘Program B’ across existing DES sites of Warrnambool, Portland, Hamilton and Colac.

Program A is for jobseekers with disability, injury or health conditions who require assistance but are not expected to need long-term support in the workplace.

Program B is for jobseekers with permanent disability and with an assessed need for more long-term, regular support in the workplace.

The new DES contract will commence from 1st March 2010.
